Pellet Smoked Turkey
Can you imagine Thanksgiving without indulging in a tasty cut of grilled turkey? Neither can we! But this year, instead of cooking it in the oven, we´re making the most delicious smoked turkey. If you don't have one already, it's time to upgrade your grill with the premium but inexpensive Carpathen Z-Smoker Pellet Tube. It will take your culinary experiences to the next level!
Back to our flavorsome turkey, cooked low and slow until it becomes juicy and tender. You will need a whole turkey thawed, with neck and giblets removed, salt, and water.
The first step is the brine. Combine the water and salt in a container, making sure the salt has dissolved. Clean the turkey, remove everything it has inside, and submerge it in the brine solution. Let it soak overnight.
Once your turkey is ready for cooking, you can start your pellet grill. While the grill is heating, take the turkey out of the brine and pat it with a paper towel. Transfer it to the grill and smoke for two hours at 180°F, before raising the heat to 325°F. We advise you to let the turkey cook until the breast meat reaches 165°F. Once ready, let it rest, and its juices settle for 10-15 minutes. Delicious!
